Site Feedback

Guys since are just newly setup, I will be looking to get feedback from everyone, so I can shape this place into what everyone wants and not what I think should be here.

All improvements and suggestions will be used and added to the site, none will will be frowned at.

the only thing i would like to see is a chat box. i think they are essential for organiseing tactics before clan matches. apart from that i really like the new design of the site

That's a good idea man, is have a chat box for the tactics.

The only thing is what I've noticed from 3 years of runnin forums is that no one uses them, maybe it'll be different for us since we will using it for clan chat before a match as you say.

I'll stick in a chatbox now so its there anyways, was thinkin about puttin a link to it via the front page [portal]?

Alright lads, jus added the Chatbox to the bottom of the forum, see what yas think sure.

You know all about team tactics like when the 2 of us played Rainbow Six before.

lol, yeah but that was against AI. hopefully when we get up and running we can join a gamebattles league against some top teams. tactics are important

Aye lad bein organised is the best way to be prepared.

I used to be a Clan Leader in Veteran Elite a few years ago [was about 19/20 at the time, now 23], they were a the top Euro Clan at the time, and thats all they did was practice, but it was all fun till they started allowin in kids damnit lol.

Besides Gamebattles there's also Consolegaming.eu and an Irish one called ps3 Leagues, site is PS3.ie

yeah, joining leagues is good craic. in our first season on the warhawk gamebattles league my clan came fifth. after that we went on the longest losing streak in warhawk history.
but it was always a laugh, never too serious

LOL I remember me FIFA 10 team on 360, we won our first game then the next 3 we conceded 34 goals haha, good times

my son beat me 7 nil on the fifa 11 demo earlier. the wee sod

I wouldn't play kids on any game now...as they would skin me alive on any game the wee brats lol.

Alright lads, today I've been workin and updatin the Homepage the day an changing the layout. See what yas think of it.

Its looking real well now. Coming along nicely.

If u dont mind can you put a tricolour on the home page.if were the irish wolf hounds we shoul have an irish flag it would give it a bit of colour

I was sort of thinking along them lines myself,but without having green/white/orange colours on the forum, makes it different to other Irish type sites. The blue and black colours look well,IMO. In saying that,it still could change yet,that's up to the admin. In the few weeks that this site is up and running,the main pic/logo has changed 2 or 3 times. The site is still in the process of being developed to make it more attractive to new members and all suggestions are taking into consideration. Some suggestions might be used and some might not. Keep thinking about how the site can be improved. If members help with even the slightest wee thing on here,i cant see why this cant be a great site for all to keep coming back. As Tesco says, "Every little helps".

Quite simply, No.

Reason because is that is is not a Republic of Ireland forum, this is a forum for both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.

If I change the colors from a nuetral perspective to one side it will be sectarian, that would be like me putting a British or Northern Irish flag on the forum or red white and blue colurs also, which I'm not going to, as I want want everyone to be able to join here and not feel imtimatdated. I also put in the rules about no religious imagery, either through avatars of sigs, as I want to keep here away from all that.

You also metioned about the name being 'Irish Wolf Hounds' being Iirsh bud, it also could be inperpreted another way to some about being releated to the British Army, as an Irish Wolf Hound is one of their mascots too. But once again it's just a name, don't read too much into the name fela

Henrik lad, you summed up best what is going on here, with everly improving the site.

i understand wat ur saying but cant see much people who dont fly the irish flag coming on this site simply because they dont call their selfs irish u should change the name if you want irish and english in this site because the name does give the impression its for irish men.And the irish flag is not sectarian it is for irish people of all faiths to find it offensive is sectarian. And the wolf hound can b a mascot for the british army its sill irish.

I deleted your two post in front of this as it beared no relevance to this topic.

As I said this is a Clan for both sides, not just one. Its both Northern & Southern Iirish, and we never wanted English folk on here, as they have their own Clans.

Once again, I point you the rules on here that it states to keep religion out of here as this is about 'gaming' and not about 'what flag you go under'

If you disagree with the ethos of the Clan then you can always go an find a more suitable Clan then.

gotta agree, not having a flag of any type is the best route. we want gamers from all over ireland, north, south, east and west. we wanna win games, not try solve the age old problems of the north. i will say i would stick with the current banner, it looks pretty cool imo.
and kev is right, the blue and black looks really well.

Well lads the forum has been hit with A faceplant rather Facelift haha.

A new, better banner is up and some new apps on the portal.
